FAQ

FAQ

ARE YOUR COURSES IN ENGLISH?
Yes, all our courses are in English.
If you are French, are fluent in English and enjoy making new friends, don’t hesitate to join one of our English courses. For courses exclusively in French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, or another language, contact us: [email protected]

HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS ARE ALLOWED FOR EACH COURSE?

A maximum of 6 persons and a minimum of 3. This enables us to ensure we can give each student the attention he or she needs.
If you’d like to arrange a private course, we can accommodate more people.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A CLASS?

Select the course that interests you, choose a date, create your account, reserve your place, choose your method of payment, and you’re done!

DO I NEED TO COME WITH MY OWN EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS?

Our test kitchen is equipped so that all our students can work under the best possible conditions. We’ll provide you with everything you’ll need.

DO I NEED TO HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN PÂTISSERIE?

No. What counts is your interest in discovering French pâtisserie. Our chef will guide and assist you and provide all the explanations and information you need. Also, more experienced participants will be on hand to encourage you.

ARE YOUR COURSES REALLY HANDS-ON?

Yes. Our goal is to make sure you can perform each step of a recipe yourself so that you can reproduce it at home.  For certain types of preparations, you may be working in a group of 2. You may also simply observe the demonstrations of our chef. We try to be realistic and manage the class in way (and in cost) that is reasonable for participants. Most important, we try not wasting food. For those that do not want to share the work, we would recommend you consider a private class with us.

WILL I GET ANY RECIPES?

Our recipes are given out at the end of each class.

WHAT IF I’VE GOT ALLERGIES?

Don’t hesitate to contact us before reserving your spot in a class to determine whether your allergies are compatible with the recipes we will be working with.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We ask that you wear comfortable, casual clothing and flat comfortable shoes, long hair should be tied back. Please do not wear open-toed shoes or sandals.

CAN CHILDREN PARTICIPATE IN YOUR COURSES?
The minimum age requirement for our classes is 13 years old and 15 years old for croissant and puff pastry classes. Those students older than 13, but still considered minors, must be accompanied by an adult registered for the class. It is critically important for your child to enjoy pastry-making and be willing to engage in it for 2 or 3 hours.
